	The type of labels you can use with a 2844 is to some degree determined by the version of the printer you have - the LP2844 is a direct thermal printer and so can only use direct thermal labels (the paper is chemically treated so when the printhead applies heat, the colour of the paper changes to black - remember the early fax machines) whereas the TLP2844 is both a direct thermal & thermal transfer printer and can use both direct thermal labels (as the LP2844) and thermal transfer labels (requires a thermal transfer ribbon to produce an image). The following DIRECT THERMAL labels are Zebra branded labels with leadtime of 4 - 5 working days from Zebra's own warehouse.
