This clever little device allows you to print labels to your Zebra printer without it being attached to a PC. You design your labels on a PC using ZebraDesigner (supplied on CD with the printer or downloadable here). Once designed, the labels are exported to the printer where they stay (even after the printer is switched off) - at this stage the printer can be disconnected from the PC and operated remotely. Stored labels are retrieved through the Keyboard Display Unit which can be used to enter variable data via it's keyboard. The KDU features a two-line LCD display that prompts for input and makes it easy to print labels in a stand-alone mode. The KDU provides a stand-alone printing solution by replacing bulky host computers. With a full-size keyboard and easy to read LCD, it's easy to operate, and works with Zebra EPL based printers (that is not the 2824-Z, 2844-Z or TLP3844-Z).
